WTF, You are kidding me right?
So I have been GOOD all week long. Pretty much stayed within my points…stayed away from the bosses candy jar and have faithfully done my new HIP HOP Abs DVDS three days in a row which is unheard of and I have gained 3-4 pounds…OMG…just a little shocking and depressing. I will get over it because I know I am doing good things….but damn….
Keep your head up! Same thing happened to me when I started working out. Just keep drinking water and stay on course. The lbs will come off in time. (Although I understand wanting the lbs off yesterday… that is the short story of my life)
If you’re working out that much, you’re gaining muscle which is a GREAT thing. Keep it up! : ) Debbie

and I know how frustrated you are. But don’t quit!!!!!!!!!!!!! The scales will show a loss. They are just stubborn right now.
Sounds to me like you are eating well and wow look at the exercise!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!
You can do it girl! Don’t give up; Debbie is right-you are gaining muscle and that means you are LOSING fat! Remember to not weigh yourself more than once a week! Stay away from the scale!
If you’re eating right and exercising like you are then you’re doing everything you’re supposed to… when I have a scale hiccup like yours, I take solace in knowing that a loss is looming. Be patient and stay with your plan, it’s coming.
UGH! That is so frustrating - your body must be wondering what is going on - give it another week like this one and i bet it will get the idea and start to shed some more pounds!
I know that just pisses you off. But everyone is right. I think when you start something new & you are really going after it, your body wants to fight you at first. Hang in there! Next week will be a terrific week for you:)

I agree with everyone else, we are probably gaining muscle, which is a good thing.
I have a calender, and on Sparkpeople I like the healthy lifestyle scale. Basically if you stay in your calorie range, get enough sleep, drink 8 cups of water, eat 2 or 3 fruits and veggies and workout for at least 30 minutes a day, it tells you that you are healthy. (or very healthy, depending on if you did more than that)
so to keep myself motivated, each day I get a healthy or better, I put a sticker on the calender for that day. For this month I have almost everyday but a few covered…even if the scale doesn’t show that you are doing better, you can see how well you did that week! (you can make your own standard of what you need to do for each day’s sticker)
